National Net Hosting... Bad choice?
 
Anybody have experience with National Net? I know you guys do :)

Their support seems really really really horrible. Really really horrible.

Well, I am not sure why. They can't setup a damn server and are really unresponsive. Very frustrating.

Sure does not sound like National Net. Over 10 years and I can't remember a ticket time over 5 minutes for a response. With Bill on it, he will get to the bottom of it.

never had any problems with their tech support - that said I signed up probably a decade ago and think my server is still a first gen pentium :/ I use them for side projects - my heavy hitters are all in a cluster with another provider and AWS.

You know a lot people say that about hosts here and Nat Net is the only one I've found that to be true. Now I haven't used them in a few years but when I stopped using their service I had over 150 tickets and I honestly do not believe it took longer than five minutes for them to reply once. They didn't just respond with a quick "we'll work on that" and have the issue sorted out 5+ hours later either. When they said they would work on it they did immediately.

I am guessing this thread is a joke? They have the best support of any host I have ever used . Not only am I a huge pain in the ass but I am also cheap.
They treat me great and I have been with them 5 year or more

yeah... I don't know how you could ever knock the support. Been with them for YEARS and never had to wait on support. They work weekends and 24/7. Wish everybody I worked with was like Natnet.

Call NationalNet right now, I'll bet you they answer the phone on the first ring and the person you are speaking with knows what they are talking about.
I've worked with many good hosts, NationalNet is by far the best host available anywhere.

Just to give you an idea of how good NationalNet is, I once got contacted by a review site who told me NationalNet contacted them because they gave one of my paysites a low score on download speeds. NationalNet, all on their own, asked why the score was low and made fixes to appease the review site which resulted in a higher score. They never asked me for thanks or told me they invested time in doing it. Had the review site not contacted me I'd never have even known they went the extra mile. No other host does that sort of thing.

You will not find a better host. Ever.
