anyone here have a magic bullet?
Im thinking about getting one. Anyone here have one and if so whats your thoughts?
http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/prod...p?SKU=40413686 I have a oster which is a great heavy duty blender but when I make bullet proof coffee with it. It leaks hot coffee and butter. The magic bullet screws in. |
cheap, 'as seen on tv'.. save your money and get kitchen one
|
It suck at chopping ice, for everything else its actually pretty good. We've recently bought a Blendtec blender. We use it multiple times a day for weight gain shakes and smoothies. Cuts through ice and turns whole oats into powder. Just make the initial investment in a good blender and youll never need another one.

god I love the internet. I found a blender hack
http://www.bitrebels.com/geek/how-to...ending-better/ I will go buy mason jars tonight. The oster is a bar blender, the thing is a tank . Ive had it for ten yrs and once it was on the glass top stove and got cooked by mistake. Let it cool and it worked fine. |
Can you blend masonry with it?
|
Hrm.. Not quite the same as the one my wife keeps by the bed. But interesting.

I thought a magic bullet was one of those small vibrators you stick in the end of dildos
|
I was a bartender for a year, I smoked a blender every 3 months back in the 90's with all those phu phu drinks that were blended
Get a hard core industrial blender, the kind they use in the big bars, in a home, they will last forever |
I had one, it's still here somewhere. Got a Vitamix and won't ever mess with anything else.

I have one and no where near works as great as you would think. its like a very low powered blender.
My wife makes smoothies in it (have to put in crushed ice, cubes won't work) and shakes. I use it for protein shakes and to chop up fresh herbs. Impulse buy for me. |

JFK got one in 1963

I have one but, honestly, I think I have used it twice.
Also, I always think people are talking about the vibrator first and then I remember that not everybody is as ruined as me. |
50 bucks not bad!
|
I have both, heavy duty blender and a magic bullet.
The bullet is great for omelletes and scrambled eggs. Nothing better in fact. Easy cleanup. For all else, drinks etc, I ignore the bullet commercials and go with the blender. |
What would you use the bullet for? If juicing, I would not bother. We went looking at juicers that were available at Macy's the other day . . . what a bunch of crap is being put out.

mine leaks. you have to very careful how you screw it in and make it tight. also it basically cant blend ice. I had to get smaller ice cubes and strawberrys. But I like it better than the ninja which i was like food processor. the drinks didn't taste blended.
