How does dailymotion get away with displaying adsense??

    How does dailymotion get away with displaying adsense??

    They mostly put adsense on frontpage and non-adult pages but I thought that it depends on the site as a whole and not specific pages? Can we put adsense on pages that have no adult content then even though the site also features some mature videos?I mean just search sex,lesbian,celebrity sex etc on dailymotion and it is full of what google deems inappropriate. Even on some of the lesbian kissing videos you can see google adsense! How in the world is google allowing this?

    The other thing is what are the alternative ads they are using? For example adnxs.com ,appnexus.com and several others but they are all some kind of MOBILE ad services. Any idea what kind of monetization they are using here?

          What do you mean? One of my sites has ONLY videos from YouTube and there is no way Google would allow adsense on videos that are in their own YouTube index. I think google themselves do not display adsense ads on such videos on their youtube.com site.

              They probably have not caught on to them yet, though sometimes Adsense makes no sense!

                  They don't "get away with it". They obviously are account managed by Google and as part of that process have to strive toward certain best practices.

                  Dailymotion do deals with all sorts of companies around the world. They are well beyond setting up a sly Adsense account and trying it on.

                                  i heard this from another guy as well.. displaying just youtube videos, but was declared to be 'adult content'

                                  they were delivering dating ads as well, which is bizarre

                                      Yeah, I get LOTS of dating ads on Youtube although I've never looked for or watched any "dating" related videos. They just figure since I watch lots of Korean and Japanese cooking videos, that naturally I want to date an Asian, so show me Asian dating ads. They'd make more money I think if they showed me ads for H-mart or some other Asian food store. But it's not my business, so..

                                      But yeah for sure, Dailymotion is a HUGE site that a regular Joe could never compare to unless they own .. dailymotion.
