how did Maggie use the Falklands for political gains before the war? yes, she benefited immensely afterwards but she had no choice but to enter the war and it was never a 100% certainty that the task force would win.

I don't know why they (Argentina), keep trying to force anything else. The Falklands conflict baffles me to be honest.
