Piers Morgan says three 15 yr olds are barbarians & thugs, but 17 yr old Trayvon was just a child..

Yeah, starting to think that Piers is really Trayvon's daddy...

You all saw the video of the three 15 year olds pummeling another kid on the school bus.

Piers was going crazy last night calling them thugs, barbarians and criminals,
but we remember according to Piers, 17 year 6" 2" Trayvon was just a child trying to enjoy his Skittles and Ice Tea..

ide tea which was really watermelon juice, waiting to mix with the robitussin and skittles..

L-Pink 08-06-2013 08:45 AM

Deport the douche …..

Scott McD 08-06-2013 08:48 AM

I do have to hand it to Piers. He knows how to wind all you guys up over there... :1orglaugh

Rochard 08-06-2013 08:50 AM

I have to admit Piers is a douchebag.

Sarah_Jayne 08-06-2013 09:03 AM

I have been filling my American friends in on his douchery since he was hired. Look into why he left the UK and just go from there.

Ferus 08-06-2013 09:06 AM

Of all the shit the media and politicians pull on you, Piers Morgan is what winds you up? really?

xNetworx 08-06-2013 09:13 AM

Piers looks like the type of guy that got beat up a lot in high school :2 cents:

TheSquealer 08-06-2013 09:29 AM

I am still baffled as to how this guy got on the air, why he was being touted as one of the most hard hitting, more feared men in journalism and why anyone even watches him. He's a pussy. His guests continually own him and really he brings nothing to the table.

He specifically bought watermelon iced tea and skittles - which are mixed together with Robitussin. It wasn't just "something to drink because a cute little boy was thirsty".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Purple_drank

It was in his system and the autopsy report showed prolonged use
He was putting out messages on facebook asking if anyone had Robitussin etc etc

If he did to American troops what he did to British troops, he wouldn't have been allowed near a camera.

Piers is the worst guy they have on CNN. And his ratings are the worst. I'm surprised they haven't fired him yet. But it's coming.

And yeah, that's the first I heard that Trayvon was picking up some of the ingredients for "that drank".

Not really a big deal. Seems like every damn teenager in America is doing it too.

But the media made it sound like he was just a baby with his candy.

Why couldn't they just be truthful about it? Why exaggerate everything?

It just makes the kid look bad after his death when the hidden truths come leaking out bit by bit. And he wasn't doing anything wrong with that. If I was a teenage boy, I'd probably try it out too (we were back in ancient history trying to smoke banana peels to get high...it didn't work).

The only thing that kid did wrong was to turn around and start a fight. But that too is what a lot of young MEN do. They have a lot testosterone flowing and they aren't gonna take any shit from anybody.

Whole thing was just a bad meeting of the wrong 2 people at the wrong time.

Tom_PM 08-06-2013 11:27 AM

Nope. We didn't "all see the video" of whatever it is you said up there.

But I'll say this. There is no video of the Trayvon Martin incident. That is the difference. I'm not for or against anything here, I'm telling you what the difference is.

JohnnyNight 08-06-2013 11:39 AM

Whatever you said...

I'm telling you there was blood, there were screams and there was Piers...

Odd how this has come out after the trial.

Martin didn't have any Sprite or Mountain Dew, nor did he have any Jolly Rogers, nor did he have any cough syrup on him. So basically he doesn't have any of the required ingredients. What makes anyone think Martin had any other intentions than getting a drink and a snack?

I bought a red bull and a Mounds candy bar this afternoon. Does that mean I might be mixing them with cough syrup?

It wasn't allowed as evidence but it was known and documented as was his behavior and comments in social media. Furthermore, his extensive use of this drink and seeking out Robitussin on facebook was well documented and his prolonged use as put by the medical examiner was documented in Martins toxicology report as well.

Sorry man, I know you hate it but facts are facts.

No, this isn't fact. Fact is that Martin had a Arizona Watermelon Tea drink and a bag of Skittles on him. Anything beyond that is pure speculation.

On top of this, it's completely irrelevant. When Martin was shot to death he was walking home from the local store with nothing more than a drink and a bag of candy - nothing illegal about that.

Just because something is not admissible as evidence does not mean it does not exist or did not happen. :2 cents:

When he was editor of the Daily Mirror, he authorized the paper to run - on the front page - pictures which were suppose to be of British soldiers abusing Iraqi prisoners. It was around the same time as the Abu Ghraib situation. So he knew it would get a lot of attention. Problem for him is that they were faked photographs. He claims to have been hoaxed but even so he apparently didn't even run the photos by anybody that could have looked at them for accuracy.

Here is the BBC article from when he was fired from that job. - http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/politics/3716151.stm

This is all separate from the insider trading he was involved with in 2000 with the Mirror and their financial column.

He's a real prize as a journalist.

poncabare 08-06-2013 01:03 PM

never understood why there seems to be a British accent on every show out there

bronco67 08-06-2013 01:09 PM

These three are on video looking like barbarians. For all we know, Trayvon was walking home minding his own business. There's a difference.

Those 3 should be put down right now before they kill somebody.

Pay attention - we aren't discussing what is admissible as evidence or what happened. We are discussing fact verses pure speculation. Fact is he had a Arizona Watermelon Tea. Speculation is what he planned on doing with it when he got home.

And again, it's irrelevant being as it is not a crime to buy a ice tea and a bag of skittles.

No one knows what Martin was going to do when he got home because he was shot dead.

Tom_PM 08-06-2013 01:29 PM

I'm over it, but I love how people on GFY make shit up. We have no idea what Martin was going to do that night. I just assumed he was going to drink his watermelon tea. Yet some people on GFY accept it as fact that Martin was going to be drinking cough syrup.

There is a huge difference between what is fact and what is a guess.

He did have ONE great night on CNN.

And that was when he had Robert Blake on.

I couldn't stop watching that.

He had slight liver damage consistent with the use of lean. So now you have 2 ingredients used in the making of said substance on his person, and a damage liver.
We can reasonably infer what he was going to do with the two products.

Robbie 08-06-2013 02:39 PM

And not only that...but so what?

The problem here isn't that he was going to get high (like millions of teenagers do), the problem is that the media HID that from people in an attempt to race bait the story.

As i recall, it was about the time Larry King was retiring and going off the air that they started promoting Piers Morgan. Larry King is fairly iconic and has interviewed 1/2 the worlds leaders from kings to dictators among everything else and his popularity spans generations and is somewhat global so i can imagine it was a huge problem for CNN. I was traveling i think and kept finding myself in a hotel room seeing all these commercials on CNN for Piers.

I would say this as an analogy... Sit back and pretend you have zero clue who Graham Norton is. All you see are these constant commercials "he's coming" and its all presented in this sort of James Bond, he's a hard hitting, tough interviewer and its going to be brutal as he puts every crazy dictator in the hot seat and asks the questions no one has the balls to ask. So in these commercials, Graham never talks. He just stares seriously into the camera as this voice over is talking about what a bad ass he is. As someone who has no clue who he is, you are thinking "hm... this could be good... should be interesting... British people always sound super smart to Americans... so lets see what happens" .

Then... you happen to catch a show. He's interviewing someone you don't know in his brand new show in prime time on CNN and his first question is basically "so, tell me about this shirt, i love it" and he's basically Graham Norton, doing Graham Norton. He's really effeminate, very soft and weak looking, talks with a sort of "uncertain" quality in his voice and so on.

Imagine how confusing and weird that that would be. That basically sums up my personal experience. Going from "hmm.. this should be really good, lets see what this guy is about" to "wait.. what the hell?! is this some sort of parody or sketch comedy?"

Then he's interviewing people and the guests are basically responding with things like "didn't you prepare at all?", "didn't you read my book... doesn't appear you did" and putting him on the defensive the whole time and the guests often run the show.

Robbie 08-06-2013 02:58 PM

I don't think Larry King really "retired". He was kinda pushed off because of his age.

He still does a show here: http://www.ora.tv/larrykingnow

CNN just thought they could get better ratings with someone else. Boy did they make a big mistake with Piers Morgan.

Robbie 08-06-2013 03:01 PM

I think I have seen a mere handful of his CNN shows but you can be familiar with somebody's work and base your opinions on that. His credibility as a journalist is remarkably low. I'm not sure how somebody who knows his work in the UK could argue differently.

Jel 08-06-2013 03:16 PM

I base him being a cunt on him being a woolwich fan* - I only ever saw the gazza interview, I couldn't let even Piers stop me watching that :)

*I don't *really* base it on that, though it certainly doesn't help his cause, and I like to get a snidey remark about woolwich as often as I can :D

He is a horses ass - We both know that - However, CNN is not run by stupid people...

I don't know if it is the train wreck effect or if people like him - Either way he seems to do well for CNN - They are not a charity for washed up UK celebs.....

If they thought they could do better, they would...
