If it's for porn forget it, you cannot host porn in Australia.

No not for porn i see VentraIP do management for 24hrs for $29 id prefer fully managed

Is this for use as a web server ?

No hosting a few sites i need at least vps as i need namserver setup

i have a few with zettagrid but they are terrible

Netrigistry are rip off artists and will find ways to screw you at every opportunity, VentraIP are arrogant pricks, Exigent have massive internal network issues they refuse to address, I could go on.

I edited the post above to say I have never come across reliable VPS offerings in Australia at a reasonable price.

You'd be better off with a Kimsufi server from OVH and put Cloudflare in front of the sites to improve load times locally.

ovh seem good and cheap

Just be aware that Kimsufi servers provide one IP.

What is it that you're trying to do ?

The sites i have with amerinoc have been setup with my name server

ns1.mydomain.com
ns2.mydomain.com
ns3.mydomain.com

if i change that back to an ip address again i have to contact each client and get them to change the details again witch is a right pain. Where as if i change the main domain to a new host with the new ip with the same dns there would be no down time.

So the server doesn't need to be Australian ?

Don't use OVH UK as you'll have a European based server. Go to ovh.com/us/ instead.

Everything on OVH is self managed. Although there's nothing hard about that, especially if you install CPanel.

The guy on the phone said i need to setup the server myself of course i can use cpanel and direct admin myself i would have no idea where to start with a server setup

OVH preinstalls the system with Centos 6 and CPanel. You choose that when you select what OS you want installed on the server.
