I don't think I'll get banned because I don't break the rules.

However, Woodo didn't break any rules, and he got banned because he was "accused"of being Paul Markham, which he definitely is not.

So, how is this witchhunt any different than Salem?

Eric Bans Woodo because of this accusation.
Woodo is NOT Paul Markham.
Woodo remains banned.

Admins have access to IP logs and other tools and when they ban somebody it's most likely not just based on an accusation, though the accusation may have prompted them browsing the logs to see who is posting from who's computer.
