Would be easily made street legal with some lights and turn signals. At least here in NY.

Being that the engine is 49cc, I'm not even sure you'd need to worry about a motorcycle license either. That's the deal with all the little scooters I see around now.

Total cost once you buy all the components in addition to the $970 kickstarted build is going to be over $2500.. I don't see many people shelling that kind of money out for the bike unless they are serious hobbyists..

What is crazy is they already exist. If you go to the website they explain that the idea is not new and other people have them for sale.

My mate has one that he rides on the path here and cost way less than 3k but this does look very cool

I have this exact same model sitting on the side of my house right now, I should fix it and get it going again.. a friend gave it to me for free.. I guess it gets like 75-90 miles per gallon.. lol it's a 1977 honda express..
