Hi,
i have a bunch of 1080p videos in high quality, i need to have them encoded to web/streaming quality and 3 resolutions: 1080p, 720p, 480p.

Post your turnaround times and prices, or contact me to discuss that.

i have modified mechbunny for this.,

upload videos to ftp and video gets encoded in 3 types.

1) keeps raw file - for future encoding if situation calls.
2) converts it to mp4 - non watermarked for select affiliates.
3) convert it to mo4 with watermarked - for all affiliates
4) convert it to flv with watermarked - for those who dont like mp4 files.

so its not that hard for anyone with php + ffmpeg knowledge.

my newer project needs files in 480p, 720p, 1080p so just need to modify commands.

how many is "a bunch" how quickly do you want them and do you have special parameters in terms of GOP and that sort of thing. I would do the 1080 and 720 using h.264 high profile and the 480 using main profile

We have a piece of serverside software that will do just that for you, for web (Multiple formats), mobile/tablets, trailers, watermarking etc. We will install everything on your server and after that all you need to do is upload your videos and press go. There will be several hundreds of videos, don't have them yet, waiting to receive and planning the things upfront.

I have practice in encoding videos, I was doing smaller amoutns myself, so we can discuss the encoder's parameters without problems.
I don't have any time frame or deadlines ATM, still getting offers and trying to find the best offer.
So it would be good if you could offer something, that could be as a starting point to think on further steps. Videos are like 15-30 min each, MP4 1080p 15k-18k bitrate

I'm not interested in that, sorry. My server is not that processing beast, and I can power a 3-4 computers with Intel i7 processors to handle "in house" encoding myself, if nothing could offer anything decent

I have not used MaDalton personally for video encoding but I have done business with him quite a few times. Give him a try and if you still want choices, then perhaps try:

We have a large encoding farm and standardized web ready 1080, 720, 480 and 240 formats and can also do custom. However can you define a 'bunch' (file size + number of f iles). I'd be interested if the volume is large enough.
