Any Bruce Lee Fans Here

Most of you guys where not even born when he was alive but those who where will remember the affect he had on our life's.

When I was eight year old my parents enrolled me in a martial arts class since I was already a huge fan. Those movies would go straight to my head! My brothers would bring a Bruce Lee movie over just to get me going - it was fantastic.

After Bruce Lee passed on I lost all interest and gave it all up but it's a part of my life that I'll always remember with great fundness.

The guy thought me at an very early age that people can achieve a great deal if they put they're mind's to it.

Of course the fucker had to die so I've never accomplish anything. :Graucho

Here's to Bruce Lee - The Gentle Dragon!

I used to be a huge Bruce Lee fan when I was a kid. Funny thing is in the video store the other day, they had a DVD collection with 4 Bruce Lee films for only 10 bucks. I almost bought it, but I was with my girlfriend and she thinks those Kung Fu movies are kind of gay. But fuck it, I'm gonna buy it anyway.

Jer 02-27-2003 03:06 PM

I like Jackie Chan movies. :thumbsup

I did allot of research on the guy and from what I put together he wasn't a very pleasant person to have around.
I mean - he was a tough mother fucker!

The guy was truly the embodiment of martial arts.

I wish I could had meet him.

Oh well, maybe some day!

"Style is a crystallization of progress...pour the water into a cup and it becomes the cup, pour the water into a vase it becomes the vase...yada yada yada..." -B. Lee

Actually, ? Be formless, shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup it becomes the cup. If you put it into the bottle, it becomes the bottle. You put it in a tea cup it becomes the tea cup. Now water can flow or it can crash.

Be water my friend.? - Bruce Lee

Hey I wasn't born in his time either, I'm 19 and boy oh boy, I used to love his movies when I was a kid too. I don't watch martial arts movies that much no more, only his movies, or just old school martial arts movies in general, like The Blade (Dao), now THAT was a movie, by Tsui Hark, about a 1-armed swordsman.

Jet Li stinks. He's all about special effects. Jackie does his own stunts and everything is real.

BumpUglyz 02-27-2003 09:34 PM

Wax on....Wax off

Bruce Lee is the best ever :thumbsup

Growing up I was big time into his movies. Then when I found out his son was in movies, I thougt this will be cool. A part of Bruce Lee lives on, and he was killed :(

Hearing about this NEW movie to be released in 2004 sounds pretty cool. Damn, Gone at 32 in 73 and still kicking ass in 2004 in his prime :winkwink:

Plugger 02-27-2003 09:41 PM

Bruce was the real deal . . . Enter the Dragon is a classic!
