Right after I vape...I get lots of intense thoughts, ideas, and feelings. I've learned to write them down.

Some of the things that I've written down over the years actually turned out to make sense and were useful to me later. :upsidedow

On the other hand, when I am trying to process new information, I prefer to be totally clear headed, and nothing feels more clear headed for me than when I wake up after going to bed high from vaping (provided I sleep 8 hours).

Note: Smoking a large amount of cannabis can leave me somewhat lethargic and with a type of pot hangover, however I don't usually experience that these days unless I consume a lot of edibles (and then I develop couch-lock).
