Selling my ride : 2013 2SS RS 1lE Chevy Camaro

Check out my ride!

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/attach...1&d=1374872039

It's a fully loaded 2013 2SS RS 1LE Camaro worth about $50,000 Canadian. It has only about 1700 Kilometres on it, 426 HP, 6 speed manual, and sick 20" Black Wheels wrapped in 285/35R20's. Perfect conditions, no scratches or damage of any kind. Like new, driven for less than 2 months.

Reason for selling : FINALLY buying a Telsa Model S. (Yes I know, spam me with your hate mail if you must)

If you're a Montreal and want to buy this Camaro contact me and make me an offer.

Yeah, a 2013 Chevy is a great short term investment; they make money as soon as they leave the lot.

Nice car but the Black Wheels ruin it. Change to Chrome and will sell quicker.

I know just what you mean. The 2SS/RS package comes with chrome wheels, but the 1LE performance pack changes the wheels to black and comes with the black hood wrap which I also don't care for much (I prefer stripes!). But oh well.

If it was being repo'd I wouldn't be able to sell it. But thanks for your nice comments anyway. cock.

I hate chrome wheels (on my vehicles). Nice to look at on other people's rides, but too hard to keep clean where I live. The first thing I do when I buy a new vehicle is change the wheels to black.

Did you go to chevy.com or chevy.ca? Canadians get ass-raped on vehicles. We always pay more for the same thing.

Thanks.... I really like it too but in a way I feel like I've outgrown this kind of car. I've always owned Firebirds - I think I had 10 between 1987 and 2001 when the last ones were made. I had a 2010 Camaro and now this one and I think well.. time to be a little more practical (just a little!)

Hi SBJ,

Probably the main difference is that it is purchased in Canada. For whatever the reason we pay alot more for cars than Americans do even though its assembled here. Sucks.

Pretty much anywhere outside of a huge market like the USA will pay more.

In the USA you can buy an Australian manufactured vehicle, for less than a similar model sells in Australia. Yep, it costs less once you export it overseas. Figure that one out.

My family has a '96 Camaro SS in Mexico City with something like 8k miles on it.. I think I could buy it for around $8-10k.. Good or bad deal?

100,000.00 AUD = 69,774.00 EUR So about the same for a second hand car.

Just checked and new they start here at 104k euros (aka 138k USD or 149k AUD) https://www.chevrolet.nl/modellen/camaro/

We win when it comes to ridiculous prices and tax ;)

So about the same as you guys :Oh crap

It is not so much the import taxes that create the biggest expense, conversion to right hand drive is 30K + sometimes quite a bit more depending on the car / truck.

wow i love this car

Not exactly.... The Model S with the 60 kWh battery (370 Kilometer range) starts at $78,970.00, and the Quebec Government has an $8000 incentive program putting the car at a touch under $71k.

My bank is offering me a loan at only 0.9% (but RBC is offering 0.4%). If I stay with BMO I will pay $858 per month for the car and about $3.00 in energy for 370 Kilometres (average 3 "fill-ups" per month). This is cheaper than I am paying now ($720 per month for the Camaro + $80 per tank. I fill up about 3 and a half times a month putting my total camaro driving at a touch under $1000 per month. I will save about $133 per month switching to a Tesla. I think I can upgrade to a bigger battery and other options and still save money. Gotta fucking love that.

NewNick 07-27-2013 02:38 PM

I hired a Camaro the last time I was in Vegas.

What a pile of shite.

It broke down on the strip before I even reached my hotel.

Stick to german. US cars are wank.

Yes but you forgot about taxes which are 13% :error so add another 10k so total 81k :winkwink: 0.4%-0.9% is pretty good rate, how did you managed to get that ?

True but then again its expensed.

For the rate just talk to any bank. Some dealers though are also offering dirt-cheap financing but they try to get you to pay full retail in exchange for that rate which of course is pointless. Shop around and you'll get what you want without too much effort.
