just mailed a medium sized box from the regular USPS shipped priority from Chicago to Florida and mom says shit was pretty beat up, think they all toss shit around :2 cents:

If I overnight,

I go with UPS.

But pretty much.. USPS all the time.

Cheaper, and quicker. They do lose regular mail, but really don't lose priority mail often.

UPS Ground - $20 for 7 day delivery
USPS Priority - $12 for 3 day delivery

UPS delivers for USPS apparently. I have tracking info on a delivery I'm waiting due on Mon. Looks like only last leg of delivery is USPS as the package is setting 1 town away right now in the Post Office. Up to that point all UPS.

UPS Surepost and Fedex Smartpost are there residential less costly options, where final delivery is with US Postal

Not entirely true.

If UPS has a pkg going to your house or a neighboring house, the pkg is intercepted at UPS and the pkg is delivered by UPS.

EX. A surepost pkg comes into the UPS sort, if the system picks up that you have a UPS pkg going to your house that day, UPS will intercept the pkg destined for the post office and will deliver it to you along with your UPS pkg.

I had Fed ex throw a package on the front lawn and I didn't know about it,It was Jerky and the fuckin racoons ripped it up and had a great snack
