Juror feels Zimmerman got away with murder
ORLANDO, Fla.?The second juror to speak publicly about George Zimmerman's trial tells ABC News that she feels the neighborhood watch volunteer got away with murder for fatally shooting Trayvon Martin. But she says there wasn't enough evidence to convict him under Florida law.
Juror B29 told Robin Roberts in an interview made public Thursday that she favored convicting Zimmerman of second-degree murder when deliberations began. But by the second day of deliberating, she realized there wasn't enough proof to convict Zimmerman of a crime. Juror B29 is the second juror to go public with what went on during deliberations earlier this month. She allowed her face to be seen and used her first name, Maddy, unlike JurorB37 who was interviewed on CNN last week with her face obscured. http://www.denverpost.com/breakingne...arents-apology |

Great one. |
Thats quite a contradiction. She feels he got away with murder and feels there was not enough evidence to convict him of murder.
|
How is it murder if it's self defense?
Zimmerman was the one who was about to get his ass murdered if he didn't do something about it... |

Sounds like a plea for PR understanding. She doesn't want to get lynch mobbed.

What he got away with was killing someone. Sounds like she has balls, and so do the four jurors who released a joint statement to say they do not share the anonymous jurors words about what happened. All of this just shows that it was far from a landslide victory among those all important 6 people. It's interesting and not unexpected, but really changes nothing.

I say that the press has manipulated the case coverage. I say that black America is trying to force the government to lock Zimmerman up even though he is innocent of the charges. -for instance editing the 911 call to make Zimmerman look like a racist. -using an image of a 12 year old kid when in reality trayvon was a 17 year old thug buying and selling guns and more than likely robbing homes... and you disagree with that? what? you don't think that's true? BTW I'm glad you're able to find humor in the situation... |

I think many of us sort of feel the way she does. Murder might be a bit harsh though. But I do think he made a mistake or two which lead to TM's unnecessary death.
What that Miami NBC affiliate did to edit the tape to make GZ seem more racist was bad and I don't condone that but then again look at all the stuff more right ring news sources have done. The selection of the photos doesn't seem like a valid criticism. Would it be any better to use the ones of him flipping off the camera? What does it matter anyway if he flipped off the camera or if he had gold teeth or that he supposedly had the screen name "No_limit_nigga". I think those things matter more to racists and people looking to use racism to demonize him. He was under 18 too which makes it even more dicey to put up all the negative things. Finally as far as bias press coverage goes I think it went both ways. I didn't see many media outlets discussing Zimmerman's arrests and there were a couple things not brought up often like the question of TM's potential right to stand his ground/self defense or some questionable elements in GZ's story such as the "you are going to die tonight" threat. |

The headline should read... "Juror tries to save own ass by saying that GZ was actually guilty but she had no choice...." . |
Or............. she was just speaking honestly about how it was for her being on the jury in this case.
