VPN Services - What are the best out there?
 

My modified cable modem finally gave out and stop working. I am now on a Comcast issued modem for my Internet.

I am looking to use a VPN service to test out and download certain shit.

What are some good VPN services out there?

Do any of you guys use any of these VPN?

Hidemyass sucks... google blocks pretty much all of their IPs now. I was using it for geo testing. Can't help you with a good one right now.

I guess that is the whole point of a VPN.

Can anyone recommend a VPN service where I can get a few static IPs?
(don't need it for torrents and filesharing, need it to login into multiple accounts at a few online services without looking suspicious, so lets say account1 always logs in from an Arizona-ip, acct2 from nyc, #3 from Canada etc)
I found a few that offer static IPs but usually they give 3-5 switches per month, and each time a random IP is assigned, not the one I used last time.

I got a CyberGhost account cheap on a discount day a few months back.

I would go with leasing a $30-$50 dedicated server then installing OpenVPN on it. It's even better if it comes with a small IP block. As a bonus maybe you can place some sites and other things on it too.

I switched to VPNpop because it was dirtcheap, but their service wasn't up to par...

At the moment, i'm just using putty to connect to one of my servers, and i route all my traffic over this connection.
