Make money from the new UK opt in system

Re: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-23401076

If you want to make money, just set up a site to allow those in the uk to by pass the opt in system without having to opt in.

In china they have these and it lets people in china access blocked sites.

You can make money from charging a fee or from adverts.

Get in now at the start.

We will see many such sites, so start now and be the first.

Enjoy earning from the UK goverments stupid idea.

Also set up mainstream sites and use rude words so with luck they are blocked and you can sue for loss of earnings.

Also set up a art photography site and have nude women on it. Then sue if its blocked claiming its art. And sue if its not blocked claiming its blocked.

Sue if you can access twitter, imgur and reddit as they are full of porn and should be blocked in an opt in.

Sue them if you can access the daily mail and sun site as Ihave seen topless pics on those.

It would be amuzing to find the daily mail site blocked as it was there campaine to block porn.

Fully agreed with you buddy. As a uk webmasrer its not a good ideam better they should block those keyword to searched on search engines.

Lets wait and watch when any artistic porn site get banned or twitter or sun website to show nude girl daily on their web and 2nd page of their of newspaper . When they sue surely the judgement will come out to unblock the sites and block only child stuff

Now question is when this block will be implemented? Any idea... search engine got date for october but whst about this opt inn issue.... no dates has been announced

what you need to make is a auto redirecting proxy on a paid server with american ip's. The thing that often it is just too damn hard to get it to work for free. But if you can make it in a way it would detect the user's uk ip and starts up the proxy, give you a clean window to surf in it would work.

If any one can make something like then i am more than happy to give you the hosting space and ip's for a slice of the ad revenue. :)

Q. How can I access blocked websites in China?

A. I have several friends in China. They use the Personal VPN to unblock web sites. It is very reliable and encrypts your connection out of country so the censors can't see what you are doing. Some of them have been using it for up to 2 years with no issues. Sometimes it takes a little tweaking to get it going as the Chinese use several methods to block facebook. They'll work with you to get it right.

Avoid free proxies, many are run by hackers or governments. They are simple to block. If a proxy is working in China with all of their technology you can probably bet it's run by the government. Since the Chinese government probably employs more hackers than anywhere in the world you can also count on your computer being used for all sorts of spying and hacking once they plant the bot on it through the proxy.

There have also been reports of some of the free services making deals with the Chinese government to allow the service in exchange for providing the user data back to the government.

The 100% reliable and safe approach is the Personal VPN which will unblock web sites, encrypt your entire connection for security, and won't get blocked daily.

Censorship is the devil.

From reddit:

Quote:

In reality this has nothing to do with child protection. It's about having the legal capability to filter things. Child protection is just the most convenient excuse and the one you can least object to.
The same happened in Germany (the argument though was "child porn" rather than child protection of looking at porn) - luckily the public outcry blocked the program (for now).
In Denmark such a blacklist already exists[1] . Let's look at the steps:
We block child porn.
We block sites that could contain child porn (Pirate Bay...)
We block sites that sell drugs
We block gambling sites
"In 2012 Internet service providers (ISPs) and copyright holders in Denmark agreed on a framework where all ISPs will block access to copyright-infringing content if one of the providers is ordered to do so by a court. The Danish Ministry of Culture plans to work with ISPs and rights holder groups to "formalise" the agreement in a "written Code of Conduct"."
...
The situation is very simple: Once you filter something it is very easy to either openly or secretly filter something more. You just change a small part of the law or, better even, just some minor administrative regulation. Or you just, you know, do it and when someone complains you say it was an accident[2] . Also take a look at the list of sites blocked in Denmark[3] or Australia[4] (at your own risk, hello PRISM). Or just at this passage from an ArsTechnica article[5] :
In Finland, for instance, a man who runs a website arguing that the blacklist approach is ineffective was called in for questioning last year after publishing "a list of a few hundred censored sites." His own site was then placed on the blacklist, which means that visitors from Finland are greeted by a message saying that the site they are trying to reach contains illegal images.
I thought this was a very astute point.
