Cammedia.com/Adultvideos.com - Have you used them?
Just wondering if anyone is using (or has used) Adultvideos.com (cammedia.com) for selling their vids. If so, please post your experience...
Thanks! |
I'm curious aswell, they own awesome domains.

i know! makes them seem very legit. but, as we know, the proof is in the pudding :)

After someone suggested it in another thread I started, I've been kind of poking around. On the surface, it looks like it holds promise. Nice layout, clear and concise producer sign up information, and it seems to fit my genres better than Kinkbomb and C4S do.
One thing I don't like though, is how prominent the "sell your videos" links are. Seems to me it'll attract more sellers than buyers. |
@lightscapemedia -- what has your experience with kinkbomb been? C4S has sucked for us :(
|
My experience with Kinkbomb has been much better than with c4s. But that shouldn't take away from c4s at all.. I do more work with Kinkbomb, mostly because I like their interface and options better.
A few things I like better on KB: 1. I like that I can create promo codes. 2. I find it much easier to add clips. 3. I like that I have more control over the pricing. Unlike c4s, any length clip can be sold for any price over $1.99. The starting price isn't based on the file size/length, etc.. I get more sales on Kinkbomb, but that's mostly because I promote it more and add clips more often. |
P.S. I did sign up for AdultVideos.com... it seems to offer the flexibility Kinkbomb does. One thing I'm not thrilled about though is they require you to submit model ID's and 2257 documents for every performer. Just extra work because I have to scan a bunch of shit to pdf now. That and I'm not thrilled about sending model information to a third party, though they did say I could redact certain info.. so that's a plus.

Update: I was able to open an account there and I'm up and running. So far, I've only uploaded 3 clips to see how it goes before I spend a ton of time adding everything.
The back end is nice and easy to work with. I always found C4S and Clips.com to be kind of cumbersome so this is a big plus. I'm noticing there's not a whole lot of activity, so I'm assuming this will rely on driving my own traffic to generate sales. I added my clips 2 nights ago and only one other studio's video has been added since then. One huge plus, is that if you produce your own content and work with a number of different performers, I discovered they will work with you on the performer data requirement. (i.e. have you sign a form indicating that you handle your own 2257 records). You have to ask though as it's not advertised anywhere that they'll do that for you. Here's my store if you'd like to look. I added 3 older clips for now just to see how it goes. Will add more later: http://www.adultvideos.com/dirtypeach |
@lightscapemedia -- that's awesome that you're testing them out and following up with your opinions and observations. i hope you keep it up, so we all know what's up :)
