The Workhorse Movement - Feel Like Bob Marley

Bobby Vicious 02-27-2003 02:18 AM

There's culture and there's hardcore.
Culture is like Mr. Robert Nesta Marley, Burning Spear, Beres Hammond, Midnite, and Morgan Heritage.

For HardCore shit/ Dancehall there's Sizzla, Buju Banton,Capleton,Elephant Man ,Sean Paul, Lady Saw, Beanie Man etc.

There's a ton of reggae music out there but the few I listed above stand out in there respected styles.

Bob Marley - Redemption song --> never gets boring :thumbsup

Oh pirates, yes they rob I
Sold I to the merchant ships
Minutes after they took I
From the bottomless pit

But my aim was made strong
By the hands of the almighty
We fought in this generation
Triumphantly

Won't you help to sing
These songs of freedom
'Cause all I ever had
Redemption song
Redemption song

Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery
None but ourselves can free our minds
Have no fear for atomic energy
'Cause none of them can stop the time

How long shall we kill our prophets
While we stand aside and look
Some say it's just a part of it
We've got to fulfill the book

Won't you help to sing
These songs of freedom
It's all I ever had
Redemption song
Redemption song
Redemption song

Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery
None but ourselves can free our minds
Have no fear for atomic energy
'Cause none of them can stop the time

How long must we kill our prophets
While we stand aside and look
Some say it's just a part of it
They've got to fulfill the book

I wanna say
Won't you help to sing
These songs of freedom
'Cause all I ever had
Redemption song

All I ever had
Redemption song
'Cause all I ever had
Redemption song

These songs of freedom
Redemption song
Redemption song
Redemption song

Redemption song
Redemption song
Redemption song

basically any live Bob Marley stuff and a phat spliff. you'd swear you were part of the crowd :)

if you're into dancehall the new Sean Paul album Duty Rock is pretty decent.
