I agree with ya on that..Have 2 progs to edit Vids from Video tape but to take music off casset discs and put it on a CD real player has a good editor..

You should invest in Sound Forge. It can do so much! SF is especialy hepfull with cassettes because you can adjust the dynamics to boost signals you never hear all that well on cassettes and reduce hiss. All done with an effect called "dynamics". Ive mastered so many of my old band's songs with that application. What started out as crappy 8 track recordings ended up sounding like an 80 track studio recording.
