Varg Vikernes Arrested in France
 

Everyone's favorite Norse nationalist, murderer, and arsonist was arrested in France under suspicion he was plotting a terrorist attack/massacre.

Varg served 15 years of a 21 year sentence for murdering fellow black metal community member Euronymous.

I like his band Burzum however. I don't agree with his ideologies, but he's a good musician. Complete crazy asshole, no question there.

I wouldn't say he's famous in the western world, but people in Scandinavia, Europe, and the metal community certainly know who he is.

After Breivik I always wondered if Varg would do something.

It's almost like Breivik had stolen his thunder, by becoming more notorious than Varg was.

I hope he doesn't get locked up again. burzum's albums have been pretty good since he got out the slammer.

The only issue Varg had with Brevik's massacre was that according to Varg, "Brevik killed too many innocent Norwegians."



I thought Belus has some good cuts, and I really enjoyed Fallen. Didn't bother with that record of re-recorded oldies, or the newest album which is just another moody keyboard blip shitfest of Norse-Pagan (Neo-Nazi) Chamber Music.
