I was listening to it in background, i heard him trying to sound like micheal jackson and thought "what the hell!!"... then i watched the video. Wow. Mannerisms, clothes, singing style. Haha.. crazy stuff. Almost kinda sad that he's so serious about it.

i was pretty suprised at how shitty an actor he was in the movie. it was like he was pantomiming an adult just off cam. i guess the corey craze was just due to his being a good looking kid and a good agent.

oh, and i never snapped until this weekend that josh brolin is the older brother! :1orglaugh

Goonies is probably one of my all time favorite movies, and Mouth was one my favorite characters, so I give him that, but anytime since the mid 90's until now, he just went looney as fuck with his obsession with Michael Jackson, despite being pretty obsessed with him in the 80's too.

tbh, i actually never watched the movie unedited/uninterrupted until now, just the tv version so this was actually i would say the 1st time i've really seen it. it's free on amazon prime btw. i remember corey better in lost boys, which i like his perf in better i think.

it just seems in the goonies his lines were from more an adult perspective than a younger teen, i thought he kinda struggled with that.

I really like that song, the rhythm and beat, great stuff until the MJ copycat bit, then not so much.

If he would not have tried to sound like MJ, and dress like him in the video, I am confident that song could be a one hit wonder at minimum :2 cents:
