Now that the verdict is in

...I think Monday I will return to my wilderness hideaway and see if the Mountain Lion has moved on to other hunting grounds. If he hasn't...and I do think it is a male...or an extraordinarily large female...I may have to kill it...which I really rather not do.

So I had a look see and did not see any new signs of the big lion but I did spot some new smaller tracks...either a female or a youngster. I am not a happy camper. I will have to put some serious thought into this problem.
