I was listening to Mark Geragos on about day 3 and he was saying exactly that well before the halfway point... That the prosecution was forced to try a very weak case that they didn't believe in and they seemed to be throwing it. I was thinking about that as the prosecution called 3 people to identify Maritins voice, two of which initially said it wasn't him.. where the defense called 8 to identify Zimmerman as the one yelling for help The defense had numerous character witnesses taking about what a wonderful person he was... The prosecution had none. The defense called and use of force expert, the prosecution did not call their own rebuttal witness and so on and so on....

best part was when the jury asked for more info on manslaughter... every douche on tv had a simultaneous orgasm and started singing the praises of the great diligent job the jury is doing...

now.. the jury are all a bunch of fucking idiots..
and the guy on hln said the jury is better off that 'we dont know who they are'

So Sanford's police chief was fired because he felt Zimmerman case wasn't worth pursuing. Wonder who was behind the firing and if they will be keeping their job.

His contract was with the City Manager. I think he only had the job for like 8 months or so. But what happened (speculation), was that the mayor was new (less than a year), the city manager was new (less than a year) and he was new. Once the race shit started and the outcry began, the city manager and mayor panicked and wanted to look like they were taking charge. I don't think the Governor (who appointed special investigators), had anything to do with influencing his firing. But who knows.

I am pretty sure you can find a thread from a couple weeks back that I said the Prosecution was showing us why he did not initially file charges against GZ.

and that is one reason I do not watch US news . . . but to be fair, I am sure Al Jazeera and RT will have a field day or two.
