CCBill stats down?

Trying to check my affiliate stats I get "You do not have access to the specified report!"

Anyone else getting this as well?

And yes, I did send them a message, but I have sent them several messages over the years and have never once gotten a reply so see no point in waiting for an answer that is unlikely to ever come.

Paper_Amar 07-12-2013 02:55 PM

deltav 07-16-2013 03:29 PM

Yeah, this is a system-wide issue. I just spoke with someone there, they're aware & working on it.

As I said a few posts up - they're aware of the problem and working on it as we speak. You know, you can call them to immediately speak to a support person there, they also have a support chat if you're scared of speaking to a live human on the phone.

SwirlsGirl 07-16-2013 04:07 PM

Lame thread...why use stats...you know damn well you can trust all your numbers from middle men without resorting to inaccurate stats

what happened to all the psycho looney cunt comments when some one asks about stats??

Or is it form submisisons??? Can't remember but asking about stats and form submissions used to have a bunch of trolls respond where did the fun go?

tfs 07-16-2013 04:17 PM

I do not check CCBill stats - I only cash the cheques. Been paid by CCBill every week since 1998 (Viva La Wetlands!) - which is more than I can say for 90% of the programs that use NATS or MPA2,3, or 4.... HEY! NATS! Any chance on getting the four grand that Cash Titans owes me? No? Fucking thieves.

It would make sense for them to comment on this stuff though. That's what they used to do anyway up until about the time when corvette left and that whole fiasco with processing for file lockers. It makes far more sense than 2,000 people calling and emailing to find out what is wrong.

Thanks again for updating on the status and getting in contact with them though.

Yeah, unfortunately a lot of companies that used to have reps active on the boards have withdrawn from that in recent years... there are a few holdouts but the numbers are dwindling.

I think a lot of them realized it wasn't worth it when you get out of control threads that devolve into mob bitchfests, even if the original complaint was valid. A lot of times someone would complain about such & such issue with whatever company and it would have been something easily resolved with a simple phone call. But instead you have a thread with 10 different posters ganging up on the rep, twisting their words around and taking shit out of context just to argue, etc. Don't have time to dig up some examples of this, but we all know they're out there.

I'm not defending CCBill across the board, they sure as hell have issues and I've made them aware of my opinions on more than one occasion, but I understand reps not feeling GFY is a productive use of their time and in part the community's brought that on themselves.

I guess it's possible but I think it has more to do with them seeing that adult paysite processing is in decline when combined with the fact that the same people own PhoenixNAP (web host) which is thriving. I'd estimate they lost something like 50% of revenues in the last five years. Like many adult companies today I think they are doing the minimum until the business reaches the shutdown point where fixed costs exceed revenue.

If you think about it CCBill's revenues are in great part tied to paysites and affiliates even though they do other things too.

Yup. I agree 100% with this too, hence my "in part" qualification. But it's not just payment processor reps that've become scarce, most service providers are less common here unless they're small/new and need the exposure.

But indeed, CCBill seems to have been doing just above the minimum to keep things going and at least retain some stable of clients to process for. But my hope is that subscription sales aren't on a fully terminal trajectory - they're in decline for sure but perhaps there will always be some niches that survive, and thereby a reason for processors to stick around too.
