CCBill Client (Potential) Fraud / MasterCard Rebilling Issues

Quote:

Our system is currently placing any MasterCard re-bills in a hold status in order to provide Clients more time to register if needed. As long as we get your account in order within the next two weeks you will not lose any current MasterCard customers, and I would believe this issue can be sorted out within the next 12 hours. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee that though.
This was in response to asking why the rebills on one of our non-adult accounts for MasterCard payments are not showing up in Webadmin, despite the customer still being an 'active' member some 7 days after they were rebilled and the funds put on 'hold' but not showing in our account.

Those of you whom have opted to no longer accept MasterCard on your accounts, it might be worth spending a couple of minutes to see if any MC rebilling members are still 'active' because the chances are, they have been rebilled and those funds have not been added to your account and, potentially will never be if you are no longer choosing to utilize MasterCard as a payment option, but these members are still able to access your sites, even though you have not received the funds allowing them to do so.

Quite why MasterCard was removed from our non-adult accounts I have no idea, still trying to get to the bottom of that considering on the 13th June we got an email from CCBill saying that both Visa and MasterCard would remain in effect on all of our sub accounts.

The good news however is, now that this issue has been discovered and communicated to CCBill, they appear to be working on resolving it, unlike the Webadmin reporting error (below_ which I was just told they have been aware of but still have no estimated time for a resolution of the problem.

Go into your server... delete a FOLDER called *cgi bin*, problem solved.

Actually its not...

We don't have any of our CCBill installs put inside the cgi folder as it is too common, we tell them an exact location of a random folder to use on each new sub account we submit :)
