If you want a real answer from me. I can't give one, as i have never been anywhere where Sharia law is in practice. Nor will i ever go.

However, before my wife i was dating a pakistanian girl who was muslim. Her father tried very hard to enforce the ways in Canada.
She was deathly afraid of him finding out about us. She would leave her home dressed as a ninja in the full garb. Then change in any place that had a bathroom on the way to see me. She was just 19 at the time. She had to make up a fake class she was taking to come and see me once a week, then also come to see me before she had class on another day.

She hated her father and the religion. She feared what her brothers and her father would do to her if they found out she was seeing a white guy. It goes on and on, the horrible stories she told me about, however if i ever spoke poorly of them she would defend them.

Religion is a crutch of the masses. I also can't stand overly zealous christians etc. Which is funny as one of my best friends in Canada is a minister, and makes his money speaking at churches..lol

i ran with an iranian gal for a while a bit ago (get it, i ran iran lol) who sounds like the same. she didn't even talk religion, at all, which went a long way with me because i avoid that topic, except for the history of religion, i like taking a look into it, not out from it.

i've heard bits& pieces re: sharia law here and there, but not ever taken the time to try and learn/understand it all, or at all. :upsidedow

but i came across a pretty offensive newspaper picture of it that i posted elsewhere and can understand how it can piss people off, nevertheless people have to live in those enclaves, or maybe they have been entirely taken over.

Pretty fucked up, I have been hearing about it for a while but when I saw that pic I realized maybe the patriotic citizens of these ["soft-occupied" let's call it] countries actually need international attention to help them sort through this invasion.

my sister and neice just returned from vaca there and i asked if they saw anything related to this sort of thing and they both said no, but their party kept to touristy areas so we all figured that must play into it.

Just have Canada/USA/etc make laws against Sharia and arrest those idiots or deport them. Problem solved.

Within the last couple of years I came to know of a girl that is Arab but lives in a westernized manner.

The thing is, she dresses and acts and passes for a man, even having some sporadic facial hair.

Now since this is more pronounced since I first met her, I can't help but wonder if the progression toward a male stature and "at first glance" appearance is out of choice or because of a desire to be free from cultural chains.

i've known Americans that went to college in Britain in areas that were heavily Muslim populated and trying to enforce Sharia.

They had nothing but bad things to say about the whole experience.

Problem is many of them are bullies in Britain and some have become violent. There has been at least one public execution in London done by a Muslim.

I'm thinking it will really become violent in the next 2-3 years and that's when you will see a backlash against the Muslims as a whole. Laws will be changed and borders will be closed.

I'm a Belgian resident, always voted for political parties claiming they want to protect the typical belgian way of life... The problem is our political system. Because we make coalitions to make our governement, we cannot make strong decissions...

There are parts of brussels (our capital) where the cops don't ever go, unless there is a murder or a rape.... They don't patrol the streets any more (and they admit to it to).

I really hope things will change in our favor in the future, but i'm really pessimistic.

I think in the usa its used to get money. Also its easier to pass bullshit laws about banning sharia law than work on real things like the crumbling road system, crime or unemployment.Sharia law, abortion its all for the extreme party voters no one else and they are failing this country.
