Personally I think the design fucking blows. If anything they should have had two buildings of the same height, taller then original towers.... not some harpoon looking dumb shit.

Yeah, the spire looks odd.

Wow that looks a bit like a giant stonehenge, some archeologist will have fun explaining this some 2000 years in the future..and considering they will be getting their information from digitally recorded conversations like the ones found on this board, they will have a good time piecing that together :1orglaugh

I was caught in the traffic around the WTC today ! I guess they where doing a public gathering and announcement !

Hard to tell what the hell it's really going to look like until it's built and your standing there in NYC looking at it. Did the article mention when construction is planned to begin? It should be interesting to see something like that being built.

Well that one weird tower may be cool if you can actually go to the top of it. If its just some huge ornament you cant even go up in, then it really blows.

They should have built the tallest building in the world, not the tallest decoration. This will be the tallest man made structure ever, but the Sears Tower will still be the tallest in terms of usable office space.

incorrect! the petronis towers in kuala lumpur are currently the worlds largest, and theres a new one being built in india or some shit that will be taller then petronis

I saw on tv they're estimating it will take a decade before it's all finished.

Im kinda mad now afer looking at that website and seeing the design more.

Maybe its just me, but the best way to rebuild the skyline would be to have at least two (twin) towers of whatever design there.

And yea of all designs made this one just owns...
