How do I block Backlinks?
So I have just found out that my site has some 700,000+ backlinks from 2 domains that are a 'bad neighbourhood'
How can I block these domains (in the eyes of Google) without using the disavow tool (ie, .htaccess). |
Why not use the disavow tool ? and add comments about the links in the text file.

Well, ok but how do I get a list of all 700,000 URL's I can't see an option in GWT.

Depending on the amount of sites, htaccess would be pretty inefficient if you're adding half a million IP's. You'd be better off just outright blocking at the server level/router level versus using htaccess per domain. IE. www.yourdomain.com/troublesomepage.html 301 to www.domainidontuse.com/troublesomepage.html Forgot to say, even if you are successful in doing this it will be many months before Google sucks it all up and decides to be nice again. |

Just disavowed the 2 sites using domain:site.com format.
Hopefully this might go some way to help things. |
It will but it may take some time.
