Dwight is a great talent, but he has been a cancer.

It's a good risk for Houston though. They are in NBA purgatory where they aren't good enough to make it to the finals, but not bad enough to draft high. Landing a superstar in free agency is the only way out.

This makes Omar Asik (the second or third best defensive center in the league) expendable. And I think he performed well enough this year for teams to be willing to take on his contract. That trade is going to make or break Houston.
