Sponsor Linkable TGP's
 

How come we don't see more of these?

I think some sponsors could benefit from this as well.

Think of the bookmarkers one could get, and as the sponsor adds new sites to his or her arsenal of sites, the linkable 'tgp' could be updated as well, creating a very nice free site to encourage sales as well, meanwhile retaining the affiliate code.

Few sponsors are doing this, but the idea has gotten me thinking.

And I'd like to see more of these.

not sure I understand... Basically a full TGP that you link to with your affilliate ID appeneded to it? To use it for trading traffic?

Not specifically trading traffic.

But close yeah, same concept.

Any affiliate, not necessarily with the intention of trading traffic, can send that tgp traffic, and since all links are ARS links, the affiliate code is distributed.

I've had some very good luck with these, and cannot see why some sponsors are not doing this.

So many sponsors have a bajillion hosted galleries and nice flavors of sites that one could easily design a full 'TGP - style' site to market the entire palette.

Rotated galleries.
Toplist style links up top straight to sponsors.

so many possibilities.

ahhh... hmm... I think I'll monitor this thread to see what some pros and cons can be...

I get it now. I've been thinking of doing this actually, but hadn't thought it through yet... but I could prolly set one up soon.

Mainstream sponsor companies are big on this.

This has nothing to do with gallery makers.

This is about getting bookmarkers for a free site pushing a palette of sponsor sites trying to maximize on their interest in more than one thing. Or in some cases as Turbo, possibly all cum relates bukacky stuff.

It doesnt have to be updated daily like tgps. Weekly perhaps. What I have in my mind would say when you make major updates to the site.

For instance movie sites that add movies every week could change out thumbs up top to premade hosted galleries etc, that would normally go to affiliates anyhow.

I tried this, but you need to manage trades and all that jazz. It took a lot more time than it generated in revenue.

I agree it is a good idea, but the sponsor would need a skilled traffic trader on staff to manage it or come up with a slightly diferent free site format.

Basically it's a list of your own sponsors galleries, that is made to look like a tgp. It's been done, and being done for years:Graucho

Not really talking about trading traffic or anything like that.

More so a benefit for people who have their own traffic and would like to send to it, or mainly affiliates who can send what traffic they have to it - no different than the 'Bookmarks Page' Lightspeed offers their affiliates.

All these are really cool, inexpensive things that could benefit both sponsor/program owners, but affiliate as well.

And isn't that what it's all about?

I guess I just expect a little too much creativity from 'sponsors' these days, its all so stale and over compressed.

What does the sponsor have to do with it??....You just make a "tgp" site, that isnt full of other peoples sites that you have to constantally review and update??...You just keep adding all of your own galleries and sponsor hosted galleries, etc.... and if you can feed it traffic, then any damm thing a surfer clicks is yours??...it really a very old concept.......been doing it for years:winkwink:

Think of it more like this.

Im willing to think and firmly believe if Lightspeed had a 'Cheerleader TGP' any affiliate could link the guys with the 'teeny' tgps and who have traffic, would no doubt put it in their trades with the others, and start sending them a few k a day.

This would certainly benefit the sponsor in a new way.

Its all about 'new sources' of traffic, not the same old ones.

Great for sponsors & TGPs...but would push the knife a little deeper for the gallery makers/submitters. The free hosted galleries already are hurting.

Everything, you keep blabbering about how its 'been done for years' but I just wanted to see examples and you cant show me any.

I'm just thinking it would be cool if more sponsors offered it, which again, you fail to show me any other than the obvious.

Looking for examples that's all.

Hell, id be interested in looking at programs who offer this.

It's YOUR tgp, and all listings would be YOURS to YOUR galleries and sponsors??...If we are not talking about the same thing then my bad :)
