Sponsors Lacking FPA's
 

Man how come it seems even some of the good sites out there, the sponsor slacks on the FPA's? As in, where are they?

I wont name any examples, but first thing I do when I sign up is check out the promo materials, and no matter how cool the site is, as well as the banners, more times than not, the sponsor totally slacked on the full page ads.

Sucks, cuz then I have to design my own.

um...some..but they suck...we are re-launching www.tgpwealth.com in the next week or so. and it won't suck then. :-)

What gets me are the programs that don't add fresh promo materials on a regular basis. With so many webmasters, so many pages, with banners, etc out there, good programs should keep rolling out new banners, HPAs and FPAs.

Promo materials should be added with every update as far as Im concerned.

sponsors need to get more into rotating these things.

for instance, not that I use it much but its cool.

the top bucks 'banner of the week' link, you link it and they rotate the banner, so even on small feeder pages or freesites you make your banners are rotated.

another thing i am looking forward to seeing more in programs are sponsor linkable tgps, like ARS, again not that I use it much but its cool.

They have so many sites they are able to create a full tgp style free site, except their toplist is all paysites, and the galleries are their rotated galleries.

The affiliate can simply link with them, in essence trading traffic with the promise of at least traffic is going to a sponsor, then from there they can find what they like.

so many ideas yet these programs are slacking.

one of these days ill start my own.

so do you think we should have FPA's that we host is that an incentive?

I was just thinking about this today. A lot of the biggest sponsors have HPA's and FPA's that look like they were made in the 1980's big hair and all!

It seems like they don't care if these ads convert.

I know from feedback that hosting the FPA's and HPA's and all of the banners that we provide has been nothing but positive. :)

we have been providing this service since the late 90's

When I started here about 3 years ago I thought that it was standard in the industry....lol little did I realize

We used to host banners but alot of webmasters didn't want us to for loading reasons but I guess thats changed again.

Damn just another thing we need to add.

Well if your server is slow yeah.

Why didnt you upgrade the server instead of pulling the feature? Nothing sucks more than waiting on something to load. SO I can understand.
