Starting Porn Site: Free with ads, Affiliate or Review? Pros and Cons

Hi there,
I'm new to porn, even though I do run another couple of sites about male enhancement shit.

As far as I'm aware of I could either

1) sign up with one affiliate program (like sextronix for example) and upload their pre-made gallery on my niche specific domain?

2) get a more generic porn domain and list content for free hoping to become able to sell ads in the future

3) create a review site with a review domain and promote lots of affiliate programs.

Can you guys help me understand the pros and cons of each of these three approaches?

Thanks guys

1. You could sign up as an affiliate/

The down side being that your probably going to be promoting sites that have been promoted like crazy, and thus unless your very good with getting the right (and new) traffick sales will be low.

But also consider setting up a tube site too as an affiliate, as it may give better results.

2. Free may be the way many are going. But you may use a lot of badwidth.

3. A rewiew domain is probably very good. It just takes time to go through sites and some may think your too small to bother with.

All sound like good ideas. You could do all three in that order. Do your own sites first and then do the third site to review your own sites.

I was thinking of a tube site. Why? There are other options beside a tube site for affiliates?

thx

Spend a shitload of cash creating your own original content.

Let the tube sites illegally distribute it for you...for free.

Unfortunately I don't have shitload of cash to spend, if had it I wouldn't probably be bothering creating a business.

1) This is very tough these days. 1% ctr with 1:1500 ratios is now normal. Expect to receive somewhere between 20,000 - 100,000 visitors to your site before making a sale (usually worth $10 - $30). If you add it up you can see why this is often a losing proposition for most.

2) It's extremely over saturated and see #1. You will still make more with this method per visitor than with #1 but the trick is gaining traction and visitors. Expect to need 10,000 visitors a day before you even have the chance to make $100 a month from this in porn.

3) This is a long term strategy. It could be a winner but you should also consider what the market is going to look like a year or two from now. Paysite porn is on the decline and many programs have vanished in the last couple years. It's safe to say many more will vanish in the next few years too.

Free advice: I'd look at a different industry or solely focus on dating or cams. If you only need $100 to $200 a month for some extra pocket money with a couple hours work a week then #2 can work nicely but it's not a long term solution. I would not even think about #1 or #3 from scratch today.

Thanks a lot for your reply.
What do you mean by focusing on dating and cams? Is there any website you could show me that does this well, just so I can have an idea what you mean?
