We have free 30 minute trials and pay webmaster referrals. I personally am doing excellent with some of our sites, our affiliates are as well.

Flashcash pays $20 per free 30 mins trial(3 days with mr.skin site). I'm currently converting about 30:1 from first page clicks with Mr.Skin and SE traffic(too good to be true?)

Just out of morbid curiousity, why would anyone want to be paid for free trials?

A little bird is telling me that if somebody is paying me $30 for a free trial I have sent them, their shave engine is running in 6th gear.

Hmm... if 1:57 is with shaving on, I'd love to see how some of our affiliates are doing with shaving off.

Think for a minute, you'll figure out how we can pay $25-30 per.

I know, I have heard it before. I don't mean anything negative about your program, honest. I was responding to the guy that started the thread asking for free trial payouts.

What I mean is, I can understand (obviously) why you would want to offer that plan, but in spite of hearing it all before I can't understand why anybody would want to choose that option.

I rarely promote other sites, but I do sometimes. When I do its a quality site that I am confident of, and I want a 50% split on everything. I have promoted sites that routinely reward me with a customer that retains for a year, so I collect $12 a month X 12 months = $144 on one signup. Not every time, of course, but enough to help bump my payout %.

So basically I am just saying to me that seems the way I can maximize the return is to promote sites with the old fashioned revenue share.
