Most reliable source for news?? Lies Lies Lies
I have banned CNN and I am sick of ABC and the other stations not telling the whole truth on World Matters.
Can you please suggest some RELIABLE News sites that you visit? I have BBC and RT so far that are much better than CNN so far. Thanks for any help :-) |
cbc
canadian.. a little socialist at times kinda like NPR |
New York Times & BBC are superior to most other Western sources IMO. The Times especially also still has the budget to do real investigative journalism on an international scale.

DVTimes without fail
|
BBC best you will get
|
http://www.bloomberg.com/
They REPORT news. No speculation, opinions or talking points - just facts. |
I like Lew Rockwell's excellent free market website. ;)
|
Another for BBC
|
RT and Al Jazeera (English) <-------- the best syndicate news outlets that are non biased or owned by political propaganda machines!!
|
+1 Al Jazeera
|
the beeb has an agenda, maybe I notice it more as I'm a Brit but they certainly have a noticeable left wing bias.
|
TheOnion.com of course:

Most reliable is combined one. As for the news channels, EuroNews is a rather impartial source. iMHO.
|
Infowars.com
|
I like Reuters.com Took a while but I no longer type cnn anymore. Just reuters.com and cnbc.com for financials.

To get the best western news, you have to go outside of the USA propaganda machine. |
Thanks everyone!

I watch Al Jazeera more than the others combined; NHK second, RT third, BBC 4th
|
Bbc & npr

It's amazing how Al Jazeera started out and then grew into a very reliable news outlet. I'm not sure if that just shows the sad state of American media, or that they are simply striving to be great. |
I watch Fox News... their slogan says it all: "Fair and Balanced".

trick is less newspapers, more 'forums with people reading newspapers'
So that will give you a HUGE range of different views on the news (bias/lies/suppression priorities differ depending on the geo-political location) so, newspapers in Germany would be reporting FAR better on LIBOR than north american newspapers, but unless you're reading a place that has people dumping all those articles in one place, you'll never know how i have been getting my news for years, works extremely well |
al jazeera FTW here too....id have never thought they would be as balanced as they are
