Opened By Customs

First time I ever saw that, I always wondered if they checked anything

it was a content cd bubble pack sent January 3, and received today with a big piece of tape over it saying that it was opened by customs

I guess the crew was jerking off to it for a long time before they decided to release it :winkwink:

I had a package opened by customs once too. Pretty freaky really. I don't know what they thought my new router was.

there was a time frame where almost anything that was sent to me from the States was opened by US customs along the way..go figure. Once my mother sent me a big beautiful book about American history. Never made it to me..all I got was an empty package with 'sorry customs lost it' on it. How nice of them, eh?

that reminds me... I ordered this novel called "The Last Jihad" plus some books on US economics and statistics from Barnes & Noble about two months ago... I haven't got the package yet :)

They opened a package orginating from dark Africa. It included my lovely VooDoo statue. It was a bit difficult to find the right category for it :)

Sometimes I wonder about those guys

then I wonder if it is different depending on how you ship it

ie regular mail vs a shipping company

I ordered some massivly expensive hydraulic steering compnents for my boat from just outside las vegas, and it was here within 4 days, the ups guy left it outside the back door:( when I was at work, I suppose it was too heavy to carry back to the truck

so this was a first, I don't understand why it took them 1 month and a half just to check a cd,

either they were scanning it for something or passing it around the office jerking off to it

hmm... i've usually found that smaller parcel's are generally not opened by customs when coming to the states, but larger packages get tagged pretty easily... it might depend a lot on what country it originates from..!

We have had dozens of videos and CDROMS siezed by customs when shipped to the UK, Germany and even Canada. I wonder what those guys do with all that porn.

I had a US international express envelope opened by Australian customs. Not sure what they were hoping to find, all it had was a (very flat) cheque in it. :)
