Border crossing with Camera
 

Okay, on a mainstream flight board, someone mentioned that they had their digital camera searched for child porn. anyone else had this happen? anyone else get hassled by having porn on their cameras?

I dont know what country he was coming from, he was entering the country in Seattle.

Solution: Don't have child porn on your camera.

Never had that happen w/ a camera, but when I was comin' baclk from Mexico once & customs decided to search me for drugs. In there little holding cell or whatever they brought in an AVN Online magazine & they were questioning me about it & looking for CP thru all my stuff too after that. What a pain in the ass that was. Stuck in customs for an hour & if my plane wasn't delayed I would've missed it for sure.

That doesn't stop 'em from searchin' ya tho...so that's not really a solution.

You can not stop them from searching you. I know people who are not allowed to bring undeveloped film or digital film across some borders. I got hastled last week while going into Canada and I expect to get more shit next week when I go back.
