I was amazed when I first saw one of Andy McKee's vids.

Sungha Jung is a great acoustic player who has covered a bunch of songs. Don't really have a favorite though.

dude is shreadding it at 2+ in on that slayer track! i'm always impressed with the guitar pickers like that, so technical, it's amazing enough to play alone let alone accompanying voice.

I can't figure out how to copy YouTube links with my phone, but the cover of outkast's Hey Yea by Obadiah Parker is one of the most original and well done covers I've seen.

To be fair Killing in the Name is a pretty easy song :) I like the guy's style though.

I think Michael Hedges did fantastic cover of my favorite Beatles song. I like when artists make their own version of the song, not just note by note cover with different instrument..

this kid rocks it. it reminded me of a coffee shop gig of an mj cover i saw awhile back, gonna have to try and track it down.

TBH it really annoys me that millions of people watch mind numbingly boring shows like X Factor each week when there is a ridiculous amount of talent on YouTube and without the constant sob stories and bullshit drama.

I'm so impressed by the size of the fan bases a lot of these guys have online through Youtube, Facebook, Twitter etc

A few people on here could learn a thing or two about how these people build their fanbase :pimp

Sungha Jung has been recognized by the Korean music industry at large. I believe he sat in with the group 2NE1 and recorded a track after they saw his cover on the tube.
