Naked and Afraid - Is anyone going to watch this show?
 

I have to admit I don't watch reality shows as I think they are a complete waste of time but I was kind of intrigued by Discovery's new show - Naked and Afraid which airs tonight. Here's what I read:
Talk about fearless ... contestants on "Naked and Afraid" saw how a snake nearly killed one of the TV show's producers -- and still refused to back out of the competition.

Sources connected to the Discovery show tell TMZ the players were warned after Steve Rankin was bitten by a poisonous fer-de-lance snake while location scouting in Costa Rica. Rankin barely survived, and as we previously reported ... the flesh rotted right off his foot.

We're told honchos warned players they could face the same fate as Rankin, and gave them the option to quit the show ... which drops naked contestants into the wild and watches them survive.

No one backed down from the potentially deadly danger.

I'll check it out like I did with intervention, the first 48, that goofy ass Duck Dynasty, and Call of the Wild man.
Beyond Scared Straight is alright and I'll watch it if nothing else is on Thursday night.

reality?

I don't watch "Reality shows" for a reason = mostly boring. The video I saw of Naked and Afraid showed a man and woman who are naked and trying to start a fire and crying in their efforts. It looked so weird that I couldn't really believe that this was a real show and produced by Discovery. I guess mainstream tv is in just as much trouble as porn these days.

I have no plan on watching that but I am watching the Skywire where the guy is going to walk across the grand canyon with no net.

Oh shit, they really are naked. The next step is this show, except someone tries to kill you in your sleep.

Food Shows
 

I don't care if they're real or fake, I like the undercover food shows. My GF refuses to watch, but when I describe to her something on the show she says something identical happened in either a place she worked or owned. Especially employee theft. Said that was her biggest cost.

Never watch the Duck show, but was in Springfield MO the other day and the Bass Pro show has a huge area devoted to selling Duck Dynasty items.

Reality?? there is no reality to them.

It was better then I thought it would be.
