Another webair success story?

sixpack 06-20-2013 10:11 PM

Another South of the Border comment that dude has no clue of whats going on. I will now never do business with this company that has nothing to do but bash. Hope it was worth it, crap comments like this helps to weed out the people I won't do business. I would hope that if you want to do business around here you may want to think twice before you post. There are people like me that read some of this crap and say to our self's do we want to do business with someone like that. Just saying.

Relax man, it's probably another one of the Webair guys accounts. They've been known to post in support of themselves with fake nicks.

I don't think he is a fake nick though. I don't know though. its sad though that people trying to grow something are completely cock blocked by hosting companies. Same goes for 3rd party billers.

mardigras 06-20-2013 10:51 PM

I got it. Don't know if the more prominent link on the page I was clicking on is working now but I clicked the smaller link higher up on the page and it went to a different (longer) form and went right through.

Look, I'm never looking to ask someone for things that are not 100% honest to their personal experiences with a company, ever. On the on the same note I expect everyone to speak to their experiences with any company. If you've had a problem with Mike and or any other company you should deal with Mike and get through the issue, I believe that he will take care of any issues that you. If not get a hold of me and I will personally get it taken care of any issues. When i see a company that bashes why would I EVER want to take a chance with them if, if something doesn't work out their gonna bash me whether if it's true or not , THINK ABOUT IT.

"Another WebAir success story" is kind of a tradition in any and all WebAir threads.

If Beaner had not put it there, someone else would have.

It is as common as posting "Show us your tits" in a welcome thread.

Just my :2 cents:

.

Actually, my question was an issue to get a 3rd party script set up. Haven't had an issue on their end for that account for quite some time.

80-90% of that comments are fake or sponsored because webair is quite huge and it's big competitor to most of hosts here. If we go to this 10-20% real ones and do some closer examination of them we will realize that some of them are ridiculous.

For example:

A guy who had no own backups for years and did not take care to ask (or see for himself in the control panel) if he has some (note that he was also not paying customer and had his server for free).

A paysite owner and adult model who was thinking that his account was down while the real problem was not webair but her ISP.

and so on... Note also that many of those people do not contact support first but go here and post straight away. So the real percentage of real issues would be very small and mostly related to people with small virtual (shared) hosting accounts or unexperienced with self-managing/administrating or some minor stuff. But all in all there are no bulletproof hosting providers, are there any? A server issue may occur anywhere anytime and the cause might be hardware failure or human factor but as long as it's getting fixed up and damage is not made or retrieved it's ok in my humble opinion...

An example of why webair is a piece of shit is the fact that you can't just use the ticket system as with any professional service provider and rely on it, but have to track down a single individual to get something resolved.

Our experience with them was nothing but negative and a complete waste of time and money and we had to cancel all the servers before they even went live because of all their fucking delays, broken promises, missed deadlines and incompetence.

Uhm... hate to fucking break it to you... but when you're providing a service, the "service" part is pretty fucking important.

Of course. Of course.

Weird how its one company continually getting bashed for downtime and horrible service and not NatNet, Mojo, Phat etc etc etc.

It can't be that they are a shitty hosting company. It has to be a conspiracy. Obviously.

3xmedia 06-21-2013 05:51 AM

I currently use like 15 different hosting companies. I have been with webair for like 10 years now. no issues at all.

Mojo, natnet, isprime... they are great as well but they only offer dedicated servers.

also tried amerinoc, certifiedhosting and some other popular hosts on here and they sucked! :disgust

I often have problems with my current host, but I just can't be sure that others won't be worse. I would have to have servers at several providers and test them for a few months - too much trouble, even more than now I suppose.

Actually, actually NatNet, & Phatserver/AmericaNoc had some network down issues not so long time ago... while I don't remember Webair as a whole network or significant part of it was down in last years for longer than 10 minutes (planed maintenance), sure there happens that 1 server or a few virtual accounts might be down as Webair is huge company with multiple datacenters and things happen but please... don't make me laugh so hard.

You should read some of his old posts. If he isn't Mike, he is a weberror employee. Anyone who doesn't readily admit that weberror has issues is either an employee or an idiot.

scottybuzz 06-22-2013 01:40 AM

i would recommend everyone stay as far away from webair as possible

i have lost so much time and work because of them it is unreal
