Whois entries
When do domain whois entries expire from being seen in search engines? I have an expired domain displaying my personal info. :Oh crap
|
Probably won't disappear until somebody else registers the domain or you renew it and add privacy. Even then the information may still appear cached somewhere.
|
If the whois records are updated then some sites are still using older records/dumps.
contact the site owners and tell them to update the record/dump, or you can find button of their site to get updated results, once you get updated results, it will take few weeks for Google to crawl and index it. if site owner doesn't respond contact hosting. good luck |
Often those sites don't update and the info is stuck... Some of them have a form to remove. It won't go away when the domain expires, that much is for sure.
|
The domain expired about 2 weeks ago. Just remember I had the same problem with a previous domain but these whois sites stopped listing it after like 2-3 months.

Who gives a fuck?

If you have access to certain online tools you can see any domain's full history.
This information never goes away. It's always available to users of these tools. |
