amazing place

amazing place about to be shut down. The construction union in Quebec is bitching that it was built with non-union labour.

The owners are arguing that it's an artpiece, not a contemporary structure, and as such is immune from Quebec law requiring union only carpenters, etc. The Union is complaining that a structure is a structure (conveniently forgetting that no carpenters, plumbers, etc, union or otherwise, were used and there are no ice sculpters in the construction union).

there was a couple of us, so we got a theme room (with ice scupltures and shit in the room). it was 618 CAD. You can stay cheaper in a normal 2 person room...

looks great - how long will it stay "open"?

it's only open for around 4 months a year or so. they make a comletely different one each time...
