What is a normal clickthru rate?

My galleries banner to 1st sponsor page clickthru rate is usually around 0.5% (0.005).

Is this normal or do I just suck?

That is a normal rate......try to combinate your banners with text links. A short text with link could give better rates.

have you ever tried PPC banners? CT rate goes out the window when you only pay for the clicks you get - regardless of impressions. :winkwink:
