He was just on Letterman... still sharp as a tack (AND a dagger:1orglaugh) at 87. Saw him live twice, highly recommended if you ever get the chance:upsidedow

I keep meaning to catch him when he comes to Vegas.

He played The Orleans Casino here a couple of months ago and I missed it. :(

He's awesome!

When I saw him he was at the Grand Casino Theater in Biloxi with Joan Rivers. The first time he opened for her and the 2nd time she opened for him.

Great to know he is alive and kicking!

I love Don Rickles. He's on Craig Ferguson every once in a while and those two together are hilarious!

He's the best. I saw him 30 years ago.
Somebody in the audience was stupid enough to heckle him, he ragged on the guy for 20 minutes 'till the guy left.

Only when he's "on" from everything I've heard, all accounts are he's a really nice person with a heart of gold and quite charitable.

He was always one of the funniest comedians on the Dean Martin Roasts, a true comedy legend.

He's cleaned up his act a LOT, from the early days, to be more politically correct:2 cents:

He was great live years ago. Rodney Dangerfield is the only other guy I can think of who was still that sharp toward the end

Rickles is also a gem in every movie he's ever been in or did a cameo in.

I used to visit Rodney's website often in his later years. He did "shows' from his home sitting in front of his computer before everybody and their brother had a podcast. He was quite interactive with the fans.:thumbsup
