The import car scene is a popular Asian sub-culture which Asian Diva Girls has been involved with over the past 10 years.

The largest, and one of the longest-running import car shows in the US, is Hot Import Nights (HIN). The latest version of HIN made it's annual stop in Northern California at the Santa Clara Convention Center last night, and Asian Diva Girls was there to cover some of the action:

Where are the cars?

Going to a car show is like a reunion for me, since I get to see many models from LA, Las Vegas, and other locales that I've worked with before (in addition to recruiting new models):

Some of the import car purists dislike the model scene that is a part of the carshow events, but the truth is, the models are a big part of the show, and the largest activity is usually taking place around the model booths. Nonetheless, I am always quite impressed with what some of these people do with their cars using after mark parts, and tricking out their cars.

Thanks! I shot these pix with my cheapo-cheapo Rebel using the on-camera flash, since I wasn't allowed to bring in my video camera (security said it "looked too professional"), even though I pointed out all of the people carrying high-end DSLRs and GoPro's shooting video (they had rails for video, etc).

Oh well, I should be getting better pix from my main stills shooter tomorrow...

It was pretty fun, although after you've done as many car shows as I have...and they are no where near as wild as adult industry shows.

I have a few small events to cover and the next biggie is ComicCon in San Diego in July.
