Anyone seen/used/got a cousin who has the Omega Garden?

That's the most bizarre garden device I've ever seen.

Wow, that's awesome. I wonder if it works as well as they claim. Do they have a list of crops that are compatible with that setup? I'm going to go have a look.

That's really sweet. I was a little thrown off at first by all the religious overtones, but what a cool device.

I've read on certain boards that its not perfect. Most people that purchased it made mods to it. It gives a great yield though. I think these guys have a great system nothin fancy but its good.

Showed this to my wife and she made an interesting observation: this model would be great for growing in zero gravity environments.

That was my very first thought when I saw it.

I remember going to Epcot Center at DisneyWorld back in the late 80's and seeing something almost exactly like the Omega Garden in one of the exhibits they had on agriculture.

this one shows the effects of being rotated constantly, notice in the plant closest to you that the growth is in all directions, seeing the top, and bottom of the leaves from one direction.

i have friend who skrog it and no quite a few outdoor growers, but none using these things.

how many plants is that though?

the plastic version maxed at 168 plants but was operated at 1/2, and 1/4 cap. or less.
