Must be a rip off of the 70's movie Willard about a psychopath who befriends rats and use them to kill people, they ended up having a sequel called Ben which Michael Jackson sang the song Ben for.

Other than that Crispin Glover is one of my favorite actors.

gothweb 02-25-2003 09:11 PM

Ahh. "The Thin Man" from Charlie's Angels.

Rocky 02-25-2003 09:12 PM

i enjoyed the original that was made in 1971

especially when Micheal Jackson sang the title song, "Ben"

yeah.. as horrible as charlies angels was, Crispin made it watchable.. then again crispin as an evil aristocratic ninja would be good in any movie.

i had a feeling we would meet here
:1orglaugh

Crispin Glover is the freak of all freaks

and it's not just because he has a collection of diseased eyes that he proudly displays at home, but his behavior on set is creepy to say the least

Fantastic character. Simple, quiet, intriguing. Its nice to see minor characters with something special about them.

Reminds me of a Deam Koontx book I read: Dragon Tears

The guy in it has a collection of eyes where he likes to roll them around his naked body....intresting

SpaceAce 02-25-2003 09:18 PM

The original Willard was pretty wild. Crispin Glover comes off so weird that I just can't imagine anyone more perfect for the role.

also he hasn't aged a day since "back to the future I".. he's obviously undead.

smut4all 02-25-2003 09:27 PM

He played George McFly, mj foxes father

Torn Rose 02-25-2003 10:28 PM

Looks wild....

Crispin Glover was at Internext in January last year. He was dressed up just like the "creepy thin man" from Charlie's Angels. Saw him leaving the show floor one day with a bag full of freebies and a stack of magazines.
I talked to him a bit at the CEN/Silvercash party. He had been drinking and was pretty cool but definately weird. He had a hot chick on his arm though so it must work for him.

I'm masturbating to that video right now........

Crispin Glover's best moment though was in "River's Edge" He out-psychoed Dennis Hopper...and wasn't even the film's psycho..just a hopped up speed freak...
damn, what a great freaking movie..and Slayer all voer the soundtrack? Gotta plop that one back into the DVD player...again..

oh, and yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing the remake of Willard...we need some more good killer rat movioes...hmmm, now I'm thinking..which DVD first??....River's Edge or Food Of The Gods? decisions, decisions........

Sarah_Jayne 03-11-2003 10:48 AM

good actors who should be better known than he is. Was awesome in "River's Edge"

p.s. Thought this was going to be the Willard Scott biography or something.

Crispin was around 20 when he was in back to the future. They had him made up to look older.

MattO 03-11-2003 11:14 AM

I watched Willard the other night, and it's pretty fuckin awesome.
Glover is great in it. It's definately a dark movie.

Honeyslut 03-11-2003 11:17 AM

I was reading about him the other day after seeing the trailer of him and wondering why he looked the same as when he was in
Back to the future.

Anyway, look at the book that he wrote.. Talk about freaky....LOL

Food of the Gods.. man, what a classic. I remember seeing that when I was a kid and thinking how cool it would be to have giant rats running around eating people lol

Yup, one of my favorite killer animal/nature run amok movies...too bad the sequel sucked total ass...they need more of those types of movies these days...stuff like "The Killer Shrews", "Them", "The Pack", "Night Of The Lepus", etc.

The Michael Jackson song was from the sequel, entitled...you guessed it...Ben!

Brutal

Bulldog-Johnnie 03-11-2003 02:57 PM

He was great in the movie "At Close Range" with Christopher Walken, Sean and Chris Penn and the guy who played "Evil Ed" from "Fright Night"
