back ordering domains - preference?

Who do you use to back order domains?

I'd prefer to not use godaddy (would rather slide down a razor blade on my balls into a bathtub of lemon juice).

cheers

I'm using Namejet, but pool is good too.

Godaddy absolutely sucks for backorders.

Namejet and snapnames are the two big ones.

georgeyw 06-03-2013 04:31 PM

Thanks for those two, any others?

I also can advice to not use godaddy it's wasted money.

snapnames and namejet

Been finding namejet beats snapnames , went off snapnames when they had that incident with schilling the auctions, or "rogue user" or something. Running software in any case that backorders on both just in case.

That reminds me, often when getting expired domains these days I just wait for them to fully expire and grab them for $9 instead of paying $70 or whatever :2 cents:

I tried using Pool and found it virtually unusable, dates were incorrect, things did't work and it was generally just bad.

+1.... doesn't always work, but at least if you are not successful, it doesn't cost you anything. I am not going to pay money to somebody to "try" and secure it for me when I still have to pay them if they fail, and I know that if the name is even half way decent, it will go through an auction before I get it anyway.
