Are All The Card Processors Having problems?

I am noticing a sharp decline in sales over the past week even if I switch my main processor.

Ibill dropped. ACPAY isn't doing good. Then I also got a email from verotel saying there were european bank network issues lately and that it's now fixed. Are all the billers having this network or other visa gateway upgrades problem?

Even sites I advertise for are doing worse.

I am noticing in the few sales I have that mastercard seems to be showing up as much as visa or more so. is there an industry wide issue with visa with the all the regs.

Any help to this situation would be deeply appreciated.

I got the same email from Verotel....However it says the problem has been for about an hour a day.

Something is up...I am seeing the ratio of 900 and check sales rise
as compared to cards.

Actually Mastercard should start to show up more frequently as a portion of sales. In the US, they now have a larger new card distribution base than Visa, for the first time in many many years.

Sales are all the same for me (one average), and I use:

iBill
CCBill
2000Charge

The only changes I am seeing are that some days are low, then the next day shoots up to cover the day B4

But otherwise, all looks good

Above average sales with CCBill. I would highly recommend them or Epoch.

Mastercard is becoming a larger proportion of our sales every week. I have no idea why.

Our sales at Netbilling are up over the past few weeks, especially with Mastercard and online checks. Visa is about the same this month with a 1 week slump last month. We did see an increase in declines that were caught by fraud scrubbing (usually non-matching street address from the USPS database) during the fist week of this month but that tapered off.

ACPAY sales stopped for me. For the past week its been dead slow.
And of course, when you email them... They allways give you the politicaly correct answer..."All is fine here...must be you"

I spoke a to few webmaster that use them...and their sales have stoppped also....

I guess we are not alone.

Madball 02-26-2003 07:10 AM
