its the product of Political Correctness and a nation of spineless, "feel good" pussies that end up at the only logical conclusion that its better to have such retarded security procedures out of "fairness" and making sure no one can cry "racism" or "profiling" rather than actually going out and identifying terrorists and taking them out.

If one was to define "freedom" by a nations level of lawlessness and corruption, then Russia is very "free".

Rochard 05-29-2013 08:37 AM

People need to get over themselves.

My mother in law is from Lebanon AND just lost a breast. Three out of four times when she flies - and she flies six - eight flights a month - she gets pulled out line for a further search. It's a huge hassle for her being as she has one breast that is completely fake. She just shrugs it off and says "That's the price we pay for being free". Any time they pull me out of line for a search I'm fine with it.

I lived in Moscow, St Petersburg, Vladivostok and ran businesses there with multiple offices for a decade, my wife of 10 years Russian and I am fluent in Russian.

Any other questions?

I've seen more dead bodies, dealt with more corruption on every fucking level of society there from GAI all the way to GosDuma and higher and paid more in bribes than you could experience in 10 lifetimes.

Phoenix 05-29-2013 08:43 AM

I think i posted about this before, but in China...everyone is searched almost.
However the people searching you for the most part are all cute girls. So i am always so happy to step up hold my arms out. Wait for the fingers up and down my legs, see if they check the belt line. It's a great way to begin a flight.
If we adopted this i bet airline ticket sales would go up. We are just doing it wrong..lol

NaughtyVisions 05-29-2013 08:44 AM

Anyone read any of the comments under the video actually posted by this chick?

Quote:

Hey Ashley,

Are you always looking for conflicts? The video shows some very polite and professional women doing their job. As a Tour Manager for a band I fly majority of the year and do not see anything wrong in your video with TSA Agents. You were jumping at them looking for a fight.

Too many people want to ride this youtube fame train. Ashley, maybe if you created a terrible song and a dance to go with it, you'd get the positive recognition that you are looking for.
Quote:

Well you can just go thru the new bodyscanners or take a train home!!! I'll take the bodyscanners any day rather than going thru the pat down plus its faster...to me your just seeking attention...they were very professional with you...the only reason your getting attention cause this video proves TSA doing with job with curiosity and you asked for the patdown...i mean really, come on!!! there are my 2cents
Quote:

You do realize that the majority of people here are not with you on this.... as for the vids that are common about the TSA, this ain't one of them: you are purposefully trying to bait the TSA and acting like a brat ... most people see through you and have called you out on it.

Yes, it would be great if this was the 1960's when you could walk your relatives right up to the gate, but those days are over, and you delaying people from getting to their flight makes you look like a rotten spoiled kid
Quote:

I'm sorry, you seem like a perfectly normal girl, but I think you were desperate for attention by posting this video and your behaviour towards the professionals I saw at work. You obviously looked for drama and luckily, you were the only one playing along.

I think it's really cute that you want to engage in an intellectual discussion about where to draw the ethical line of frisking, but you should really stay out of this with that kind of childish mentality and low intellect.

Honestly, I would have been shocked at the search, had the agent not explained everything she was going to do before hand. It sucks that this is what it has come to, but honestly, I remember getting patted down similar to that when going to see bands in clubs years ago.

Because you are nobody, making tiny sums of money online. When you run a large business with multiple offices and a few hundred employees, its a very different story. Also, things are a bit different today than 10 years ago, but Russia overall is still a horrible fuck story and everything as you well know outside of St Pete or the the inner ring in Moscow and with very few exceptions elsewhere, is a broken nation full of empty factories, dying/dead towns, drunks and beggars.

That's kind of my point. Us Americans are like "searching me is giving away my freedom" while someone who is Lebanese and very much looks it is perfectly fine with it.

Being searched at the airport isn't giving away your freedom. It's something we've done since before I was born.

P.S. How many the US citizens were killed because of police "mistake" and how many were killed, say, by terrorists? Now compare your statistics with Russia.

So yeah, I said it clear: the police state.

I agree with the quote, but don't think it really applies here. Travelers have the freedom of choice: Submit to a physical pat down, opt for the full body scan instead, or find an alternative means of travel. Given all the attention the exams have gotten in recent years, when you travel commercially today you should know you are going to have to submit to some type of examination. To expect that it will not, or should not, happen to you seems remarkably egocentric.

let's get the motivational quotes correct.

what he actually said was

Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

key word: essential.

a video assault, carefully planned, against a very professional TSA agent calmly doing her job exactly as her training requires.

The keyword here is rebels. They always were considered here as murderers and terrorists, but your media was used to call them rebels. The first association: Han, Lea, Chubaka, Skywalker...

Perhaps it may sound offensive, but "you've got that you paid for". Why the hell you have allowed Chechens to cross your border? Rebels, my ass...

yes, traveling freely is essentially not a police state. getting patted down prior to boarding a flight does not intrude on an essential liberty. it's merely a pain in the ass.

point is i can point my finger at chenyan rebels and you can continue pointing your finger at the u.s. police state. neither is right.

adendreams 05-29-2013 09:33 AM

funny debate about the freedoms of RUS vs USA... both countries have govs that do some pretty fucked up shit - we have been targeting and spying on journalists and thats not too cool but Russia has a President that would take a critical journalist out back and put a bullet in his/her brain and not blink twice before having morning tea.

The term "rebel" amuses me. It all depends on what side you are.

If you are against the government, then the rebels are heroes. However, if you are for the government, the rebels are criminals.

If a group of people got together and decided to overthrow the US government, had armed themselves, and took control of a large section of Montana... Would they be rebels or would they be criminals?

Love the attitudes... Everyone thinks this is abuse and wrong, yet when a terrorist hops on a plane and kills hundreds of people, everyone will bitch about how there wasn't enough security checks in place to stop that guy.

jesus fucking christ, this stupid twat REQUESTED the patdown instead of walking through

Quote:

An anti-TSA activist Ashley Jesssica, 25, has posted a video to YouTube which she claims shows her being "groped and violated" by a female TSA agent during a security pat-down at San Diego international Airport.
Jessica and her mother exercised their rights to refuse to go through a full-body-scan and opted for a full-body-pat down, instead. Jessica said she and her mother were told they would undergo "an extensive pat down which would involve going all the way up the leg."

I'm curious, is it just the people in the photo you think are cunts specifically, or all people in a burka?

JP-pornshooter 05-29-2013 10:30 AM

i think if the pad down was done in a respectful manner i have no problem but this is upsetting... the TSA inspector should be fired. She gropes the girl in the groin, you can tell it is a grope as she works slow and methodical through the other parts, then gets to the upper leg and touch her vagina really quick.

if you dont like it you are "free" to drive or take a train to your desired destination.
yes that is true but there should be a way for this to be done with respect to the individual and their privacy.
