What forum software does GFY use?

I'm looking to add a forum to site I'm working on. I've seen other forums have the identical functionality as GFY. Does anyone know where to get this software? (or anything similar?) Thanks!!

is there a free one that is somewhat like the vb board. where the design is easy to attach with out all the PHP crap in the way ..
